How to add Disqus Comment system to your WordPress Blog

Literally pronounced ‘discuss’ is what many people are talking about. Disqus comment system allows more socialization with your comments and traffics. As a blog owner, you might be little more interested add this dynamic commenting system which is accessible from anywhere.
Adding Disqus comment system will increase your blog’s popularilty among the internet society. This is because Disqus easily supports large number of social networking sites and OpenID. As many of us have wordpress blog, I will guide you from very basic step to add a Disqus comment system with no coding required.
Before you go anywhere, you must register to a disqus account. Registering to disqus is a child’s play. Just fill up the form and you’ll have your disqus account ready. In any case, if you get confused, I have a brief steps with images to guide you through the setup of disqus account.
To register, go to DISQUS home page. When the page is loaded click on Sign up, Free button.
This will take you to the form fill up page. Since you are having the comment system in your own website, enter the URL to your web page. The URL must begin with http:// .
Site name and Site Shortname can be same. The shortname will be the subodmain name of your disqus community page. For example, Site Shortname: webpage will have short domain name webpage.disqus.com. Next enter your username, password and email address and click on continue button.
Next follow the basic instructions in the page.
You are done with disqus’s registration. Now you’ll have to add it to your WordPress Blog. To add disqus comment system in your WordPress Blog. Login to the administrator’s page, it’s usually http://www.website.com/wp-admin.
At the left sidebar, in Plugins menu block choose Add New. The link will bring you to widget installation page.
In the search form type in Disqus Comment System to find the latest disqus comment plugin for your blog.
The search query will show you many plugins related to disqus comment system. Look for Disqus Comment System in the list and click on Install Now link.
The pop-up window will ask your permission, click on OK button.
The plugin will be installed instantly. In the success page, click on Activate Plugin link to activate the comment system.
Once it is activated, you’ll have to reconfigure the comment system to your own disqus account which you have created just before. In the Plugins administration page click on Settings to load the configuration page.
Type your disqus username and password and click on next button.
Check on the radio button of the comment community page and click on next.
Then you’ll be redirect to success page.
You have successfully installed disqus comment system in your blog. Once the installation has been successful and the plugin has been activated, you can easily access the comments made to your website from Comments menu blog at the left sidebar of your WordPress Control Panel.
You can further modify the comment system inside this page.
